LT4 VIN Code?

What is the difference in the VIN's from an LT1 to an LT4 engine code? Thanks.

That's it on the Corvettes, but I don't know if they altered the VIN on the few F-Bodys with LT4's in 1997. I would guess they gave the car an LT1 VIN (P) at the factory, and sent the car off to SLP to install the LT4. The engine code is the 8th character in the VIN.
