Lt4 timing Cahin?

I was taking my motor apart and it already had a cam in it so i was curious how i could tell if it was an LT4 set or not

Are you talking about the LT4 timing chain or the LT4 extreme duty timing chain? If you're talking about the latter, it has a "solid" cam gear, whereas the stock LT1 cam gear has holes in it. HTH

Both the regular LT4 and ED timing chains are true rollers. The LT1 is not.

Why does everyone call it the LT4 extreme duty? It never came on the LT4. It is a GMPP extreme duty.

Probably because it's been called that from the masses for the better part of 7 years now...
