I'm swapping an LT4 into a 1989 Camaro that came OE with a V6 and Borg-Warner T5.

Plan is to get a Painless harness and reman ECU for a 97 SS Camaro.

Any advice on issues to consider? Also, will the T5 bolt up OK?

the T5 will bolt up but blow real quick it cant hold the power if not built go to thirdgen.org and look up LT1 swaps and they will walk you through it there is alot of info you need to know before you get into this.

 

yeah, read the replies in your other thread. The go to thirdgen.org like i told you before and go to the lsx and ltx swap forum in the engine swap area. And the t5 will not last.
