Lt4 springs good for this cam?

The cam is 209/217 .496 .517 w/ 1.6 rockers. From the searches that I've done, people say the Lt4 springs are good from anywhere to .515-.530 I assume they will be fine since the hotcam kit comes w/ these and it is a bigger cam w/ I believe .525 .525 lift but I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance since I've already given my heads and lt4 springs to the machine shop

Thanks
Ryan

They should work great unless the lobes on the cam are really aggresive. It's not like an EX grind is it?

I'm putting in LT4 springs on my stock cam, and am thinking of leaving them in when I put a cam in, which has 214 degrees on the intake with 0.521" lift. I'll need different springs for the exhaust though since it's lift is more like 0.543"

I ran the LT4 springs w/ a CC305 and 1.6's. Probably not the safest thing, but it worked for more than a year w/ several 6400 pulles.

why risk it, seriously?

Can you imagne how pissed off you would be if your float a valve, and it puts a hole or crack in your piston(s)?

Just my .02,

Oh sorry man, I didn't mean to point that towards you. It was towards him.

Ryan,
The LT-4 springs supplied with the hot cam kit should work very well with the cam you are installing. I have installed them with the hot cam and there is no sign of valve float at 6200rpm, .525" lift. 1.6 rockers.
