Question Lt4 ported heads

Anybody out there running LT4 ported heads and if so a they worth the difference over LT1.

From what I can tell, the LT4s work very well if you like to spin alot of RPMs or you like to shoot alot of juice.

I have the LT4 stuff and it is fine, but my money could have went to some nice LT1 P&Ps and had more HP.....probably.

It is really a choice.....

mine are only mildly ported and they dont have flow #s after any porting was done but there is a difference thats why alot of guys run them. but then again there are very fast cars with LT-1 heads still.

Out of the box the LT4s are better than some ported LT1s after porting they are heads and shoulders above about any ported LT1s.

yep a ported LT1 head wont touch a LT4 head...port the LT4 head and there are only 2 aftermarket SBC heads that will outflow it..
a canfield and i forgot the other
