Throttle Body ?

I need some advice here. Mods are in the sig. and i plan on finishing the valve train upgrade with 1.6 RR Crane slef-aligning, new Comp Cams pushrods , Comp Cams vlalve springs 986-16. I was wondering when this upgrade is complete do u guys think i'll be ready for like a 52 mm TB? Now with all the these mods would i really begin to get the full advantage of a bigger TB? Also i don't think this would apply to me but would it aslo be a good time to up grade my injectors? (SVO if any) Im NOT runnin on the bottle or anything so im just curious: am i bringin in enough air (CFMs) to justify a noticeable increase in power with a 52 mm TB? and if so Which one to get??

Rob

AS&M 52MM. Should provide insurance and better throttle response with cam and/or heads. JMHO

Shouldn't need more than stock 24 LB injectors until you are running around 400+ RWHP. JMHO

I honestly think that a 52mm TB won't really help you. The few horsepower that it might give, you probably won't feel it anyways. I would spend my money on something else, like 3.73s.

The car has 3.42 stock. swapping to 3.73 wouldn't be any difference really, nor the $$ spent on the work to install them...

Cool

I should have some back to back track results in about 2 weeks now with a stock vs. our 52mm ones. I was going to get some dyno time, but didn't know anyone local running an lt-1 stock one on the dyno

That would be great. PLEASE post ur results! i would be very interested in seeing the differences. Q(to anybody who feels TB upgrades don't make significant gains): if a bigger throttle body didn't make much difference, why would aftermarket companies (i.e. Holley, BBK, Edlebrock (sp?) ) produces them ? Not trying to come off as an a$$hole, i just am curious. Maybe a marketing gimic? Because if a bigger throttle body only made wothy gains on like 600 or 700+HP cars then no body would probably make them correct? I mean how many people have a daily driver with 700 HP? and if they do, well then all my respect is earned!
anybody else with TB experiences?

I've heard alot of horror stories about 4.10s like they're very suseptible (sp?) to breaking.
