Cool Lt4 Package Or lloyd

Hey guys whats best for my lt1 the lt4 package or the package offered by lloyd i really dont want to ship out my heads because my camaro is a everyday driver some advice is needed please thanks

This has been asked like a million times.... but anyways... ported LT1 heads will outflow stock LT4 heads by a good bit. But indeed you will either have to send out yours, or you could buy another set of LT1 heads for a couple hundred bucks and send those off.

Both. Have Lloyd port your LT4's so you won't have as much down time.

LT4s are not as wonderful as newbies believe they are and ported overkill for a daily driver sort of car, a number of porters could do very well for you with just LT1 castings.

more can be had w/ the lt4's b/c they have a bigger MCA.

The setup that seems to be quietly making a lot of converts are the Trick Flow LT1 heads ported by Lloyd.

We are talking a daily driver here ported stock castings are the way to go, buy a set of cores, or use a vendor that offers cores till you ship your heads back.
If going max effort for a race stroker then OK maybe look at aftermarket castings but till then it is just foolish.
