My roommate has an LT4 '97 SLP Camaro. We just had the valve cover off to work on the headers (I know) and the heads don't look at all like we'd expect the LT4 heads to look. The casting # we found on them was 10207843, but I can't find that number anywhere on the 'net. Can someone point me in the right direction?

 

Not gonna be much help, but closest I've got, is casting #10207(6)43 as an LT(1) head, and #10239902 as closest LT(4) casting #.

 

You know, the casting is so small that that 8 could very well be a 6 on those heads. I figured they were probably LT1 heads since they have plain ol' lifter in them. I always though the LT4's came with bright yellow Crane roller rockers myself.
