LT4 KNOCK SENSOR Good Upgrade or not?

There is a free mod that can be done with a resistor... it helped my car some, but it's still pulling 10-15 degrees at WOT... I have headers and a loud vavle train

Are you thinking of the knock sensor threaded in the side of the block, not the knock module found in the PCM?

with the free mod you place a resistor in the wiring that goes from the knock sensor to the PCM
