I just put in an LT4 Knock Module and descreened the MAF today...All I can say is I feel the difference, pulls harder revs faster and idles smoother, best $32 dollars I spent so far.
Does this thing actually help your HP or is it all in my head, Maybe it's me but the car seems alot stronger than before and pulls alot harder...
Does anyone here have any info? maybe some before and after 1/4 mile times or dyno numbers...I may be crazy but i swear I gained some power from this upgrade.....Let the bolt on begin I am hooked on this bolt on stuff now...

 

The only way the knock module would show any noticeable gains on your car is if you have a loud setup that for some reason would cause the LT1 module to pull timing due to false knock. Otherwise, it's all in your head.
When I put mine in, I didn't notice any difference, but at least now I know the timing won't be pulled for that reason.

 

Damn It......I hate it when it's all in my head...oh well back to square one!!!!

A tip for the wise. When changing components with the intent of determining the effect of components, change one variable at a time. If more than one compontent is changed, it becomes difficult to determine which one had what effect. FFT

 

It may not have been in your head. If you had false knock for whatever reason, then you may have gained some horsies you were loosing.
