im fixing to get the LT4 knock module, and i was wandering if my car is retarding time due to the lt1 knock module do i have to reset my timing in my car or do i just install the lt4 knock module

 

Nope, you just remove the two screws that hold the plate on covering the LT1 KM, then slap in the LT4 KM. You should notice an immediate difference if your car is dialing in false timing retard.

With Borla and headers, I imagine your timing is all over the place. My friend still had his LT1 KM with Borla, ORP, and LT's and it ran like crap until he got his LT4 KM.
