Has anyone heard that this part has been discontinued by GM? Is there any advantage of running this part over the LT1 knock module? I had considered purchasing one, but eventually came under the impression that any benefits associated with the LT4 KM could also be accomplished via a tune? Is that true? My car has nothing but headers, but someday I may want to do more.

If you have similar valvetrain modifications on your LT1, it may be a good idea to swap to the LT4 module to reduce the chance of "false knock" (knock not related to detonation).

I sent an email to Jason Cromer. He said his system is showing that the part is backordered, but not discontinued. I guess that's a relief for anyone that might want the part. I did see a thread on another forum this morning stating that the part had been discontinued.
