Man I can tell a HUGE difference in the knock change when I put this module in, all knock is gone!

I put mine in when I did my longtubes. Right now I still have open longtubes until I can make it to an exhaust shop......but dam, the car is running good!

Hehe, gotta love those open headers. I ran mine like that for a couple days. My mom told me the neighbors had commented on it -- "I heard your son testing out his car..." And then of course, the cops started patrolling our road... interesting.

Re: Lt4 KM

I did seem to notice a lot more pull up top with my LT4 KM. I still have a bad problem with my header collector vibrating against my k-member and a leaky slip fit on my y-pipe collector and I think it may still be pulling out timing. Hopefully once I get both of those fixed it will pull harder....

My collector is doing the same thing. I was curious if that would cause it to retard timing. You think it does?

Re: Lt4 KM

I don't have any sort of scannings or readings but I would think if it is loud enough like mine, then it would pull some timing out. It is pretty bad, it makes my entire car vibrate sometimes. I tried to replace my motor mounts this past weekend but I found out after I had them all unbolted that I would have to drop my y-pipe and I didn't have the time or patience to do that up here at school.

Re: Lt4 KM

I can't even imagine what it's gonna be like with headers. I know the poly trans mount I put in there was causing a false knock due to all of its vibrating. I'm gonna also get poly motor mounts to get that collector to stop banging like you guys said.. But I was really surprised instantly how much smoother the idle was. I didn't even disconnect the batter cause I didn't have a small enough wrench to do it, I jsut took about 5-10 minutes doing it!

So wait, you have to drop your y pipe to put the motor mounts on? Maybe I'll have to get the mounter mounts before I put the y pipe up.

Re: Lt4 KM

Maybe some people won't have to, but when I tried to jack up my motor to get some clearence, I could only get it to rise up about half an inch due to my y-pipe hitting against my body.
