lt4 intake manifold on lt1 heads?
Re: lt4 intake manifold on lt1 heads?
no it wont... LT4 intake just has raised intake runners for use with LT4 heads or GM fastburn heads.. you wont gain anything by doing the intake alone.
plus you wont get a correct seal with raised intake runners.

Re: lt4 intake manifold on lt1 heads?
The lt4 ports are pretty much the same as an lt1 on the intake manifold.. They have extra material cast in the ports , that the lt1 intake does not have, to port match the heads which are slighty taller. If you try matching the ports of an lt1 to the lt4 heads the material will be very thin if you don't grind thru. If you do not have lt4 heads and want to port match the intake to the heads then the swap isn't going to do anything . Maybe Arnie will correct me some more.....

There is also a protrusion where the valve cover gasket goes on the head that would have to be machined off to allow the extra materal in the LT-4 runners to clear. So no it won,t fit without a lot of work.
