LT4 Idles 1800???

Well, like the subject says, when I first start her(LT4) up, she usually idles at 1800 at least for a while, I'm trying to keep her under the radar as she's quite loud.

after she's warm she cools back down to about 1100 maybe? I always remembered my 94 lt1 to idle around 700 rpms...

She's got the EGR valve blocked, and its throwing an EGR code, I dont have the means right now to hook her up to anything to find out what other codes, thats just what I was told when I bought it.

I looked through the guys posts, and found out he also had a code concerning the TPS, but it doesn't seem as though he resolved that issue.

You need to get it on a scanner to look at live data. There is just no other way to know what is going on.

Unless it has scan capabilities, it won't work.

You should check for obvious vacuum leaks.

Only the OBD-II versions (96/97) of the Hypertech had scan capabilities, requiring an optional scan "cartridge" to work.

Which EGR code is it setting? The one for low flow or the one for the vacuum solenoid?

I think you might have answered my question from a different thread, I've got a 94/95 lt1 hypertech programmer(never used it, came with the car)
I'm going to assume that it still has the original OBD-I that came with the car, and not with the LT4 engine
