Does anyone have any info about putting a lt4 hot cam in a 96 a4 lt1 and is it worth it or should I try a different one and does anyone know how much power will I gain from a cam, longtub headers and a catback need some help please thanks

 

The hotcam is a good choice if you're just looking for a no-frills emissions-friendly cam. The kit is hard to beat, but most will agree that there are better grinds out there that can provide substantial gains over the hotcam.

Its a cheap mild cam swap if your not worried about huge power gains. If your looking to make more power i would do some research there alot of better cams out there.

 

I have the hotcam in my 95 M6, car runs very well. It sounds ok, but I like more thump. If I were going to drive the car on the street as a daily driver, the hotcam is very good. If you want more power, as the others stated". Check some others out, be sure though. Too big and you will need a stall converter for your auto trans. Good luck.
