Lt4 hotcam kit w/ stock heads, stock tune and spray

I know a few guys run the hotcam kit on stock heads and tune and see a good gain, but my question is........will this be ok with the use of nitrous?

I'm doing the same thing. I run a wet kit. I ran 13.3 and 11.79 and I want to run 12s on the motor so I think the hotcam will get me there with a nice tune. I don't see why you can't run the hotcam with juice and stock heads. I have longtubes witch I think will help.
The only thing I would do is get it tuned for sure.

I will be doing this. My trip to the track with this combo will be on April 16. I'll try and remember to post up how it goes. I'm going to squeeze 75 at first then maybe as much as 125. I've already got the cam kit and the exhaust work done and love it.

If you are going through the trouble/costs of a cam and n2o, why not just spend the $150 or so for programming??

Actually I will use a pcmforless mail order tune. I didn't see the "stock tune" in the original question.
