Lightbulb Lt4

Has anyone installed the lt4 hot cam kit and heads and intake on a lt1, if so how much hp did you put out after those mods.

Responses will be slow to come on this topic since it has been discussed literally hundreds of times. Not what you were looking to hear but it is fairly easy to make more power than that kit for hundreds less. Many have done the LT4 HOT conversion and in recent years it would mostly be those who failed to do research first, you did a good thing coming to the forums because you can find out how to make more power for less money. Look for posts by and about Lloyd Elliot or LE as he is frequently refered to as.

If you were doing the hotcam kit by itself it is a very good deal. You get the cam, springs, locks, shims, and GM 1.6 rr's for about $500. The rr's by themselves are like $350-$400. I really don't think the conversion kit is worth the money because like it was said before you can get better parts for less.
