Well I rebuilt my 93 Lt1 and went to fire it up and the thing acts like its missing all over the place I advanced it a crap load and it ran sorta but just felt like it was running on 4 cylinders then it went pop through the carb. I used all the same ignition components that worked fine before MSD bullet distributor new coil all the grounds look good timing marks look good and the cylinder compression is 150 PSI on every cylinder so far for 1 2 3 4 going to check the other 4 this week. I eave took the lash out of the rocker arms and have them all @ O lash for startup. I thought it may be the gas so I took a fresh can of 93 ran it through the lines and stuck the fuel hose in the can plus rebuilt the carb and same result. Checked the firing order looks good checked the distributor cap and it is pointing @ #1 cylinder plus cap and rooter look good also. I’m @ a loss here I guess the only thing I can do now is replace one thing @ a time starting with the little stuff like wires then new cap and rooter check all the wires for the ignition system and work my way to the MSD box and distributor. Any help would be great.
