LT1 wiring harness

I'm adding A/C to my non-A/C Formula M6. Will an LT1 engine wiring harness for an automatic '95 T/A work on an M6 car? Or are there connections on the 6 speed that aren't the same for the auto? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy

Re: LT1 wiring harness

You would be better off adding just the A/C connector. The harness will work but you will still need to modify it for the VSS connector, reverse lockout, etc.

How would you add the A/C connector?

I can't beleive they made a different harness for non-a/c, no one else does

Yea, I was thinking about that too.

If the connector isn't there, you will need a connector from a different harness and add it to your PCM connectors. Check shbox.com for the pinouts.

if it is there, it will likely be taped back to the harness, same with the pressure transducer connector

Re: LT1 wiring harness

I don't remember seeing any extra plugs when I had the engine out a couple years ago. I had the harness entirely off the engine. I'll call a dealer and see if there are two different part numbers.

Thanks,

Andy
