Here is an excelltent clip of one on a dyno, i believe his name is ernie, he has stock manifolds and cats, with the hooker cat back if i remember correctly...

http://www.nctimes.net/~egonzalez/e500dyno.mpg

Here is one on an 94 A4 with the rest of the exhaust stock as well....

I've done alot of research on this board on the hooker cat-back and i can tell you it is excellent.....i will be purchasing one within the next two weeks.

Also you can find many threads about it and some clips, but these two are the best i've found, besides one that it is on a red firebird and is recorded from the back, it sounds quite raspy though and pops in that clip, these two clip above sound excellent, so i think the other clip of the red bird might have gutted cats or something.....hope this helps

Which muffler is used in those systems? Aero Chamber? It does sound very good, I think I'll be upgrading to Hooker after hearing that clip, since my Magnaflow is full of pieces of my catalytic converter anyway.

Do they run about the same price as a Magnaflow or Flowmaster(under $100 for just the muffler)?

the hooker rocks, not too loud. doesnt sound too much differant with gutted cat. I have one with cats and a friend has one with a gutted cat, a little differant but not too loud, not raspy. it does pop a little if you down shift when slowing, (pet peve of mine) not like a flowmaster tho'

Is that the whole cat-back or is that just the muffler?

going by that vid of the one on the dyno, Hooker sounds like a less muffled flowmaster

The Hooker sounds really good in the second clip, if only it loaded faster than 10KB/sec, maybe i could download the whole thing.
