LT1 w/1.6RRs Vs. Stock LT4

I was doing some early morning math when I think I discovered something interesting.

These are the lift numbers I found for the LT1 and LT4.
Valve Lift @ .050"(1.3mm)
LT1 (with 1.5 rockers)
Intake .447"(11.35mm)
Exhaust .459"(11.66mm)

LT4 (with 1.6 rockers)
Intake .476"(12.09mm)
Exhaust .479"(12.17mm)

Assuming that info is correct, then a LT1 cam with 1.6 rockers installed actually has the same lift on the intake side but more lift on the exhuast side then a stock LT4 cam with 1.6 rockers

(based on valvelift/1.5(rocker ratio)=X and X*1.6=new lift numbers.

Effectively making a stock LT1's cam with 1.6 RR's:
.447/1.5=.298 then .298*1.6=0.477 intake lift
.459/1.5=.306 then .306*1.6=0.490 Exhuast lift

I dont know why I found that so interesting, but I was kinda shocked. Granted the LT4 is far from a Hot Cam

LT4 Hotcam
Lift with 1.5 Rockers
Intake .492 in
Exhaust .492 in

Lift with 1.6 Rockers
Intake .525 in
Exhaust .525 in

Just thought I would share that tid bit of info I found. Maybe someone can put it to good use.

I noticed the same thing as well. Almost the same cam LT1 vs LT4. meaning the biggest power difference of the LT4 is the 1.6 RR and the better heads.
