Ya the race will just be for fun... and after buying the thing he'll have no money for DRs. I'll probably be on DRs and he'll be on street tires.
Hell I know he'd rape me if we were both on Nittos. I expect to lose anyway, I just wanted to know how badly or if anybody thought I could at least give him a good race. Looks like I may have a tune by the time he gets it as well. I don't know the gains I'd see from Ion but from the talk on here it won't really matter haha. Oh well, it'll be fun, and thats what its about fellas.

 

You'll get walked if he has any clue how to even remotly drive that thing.

 

If you do it right, he will at least have to play catch up. Practice with the Nittos and see what kind of air pressure they like on what ever street this might happen on. You are going to have to go from a dead stop if you want to have at least a chance at giving him a good run. Heat the tires up really well and have at it. Maybe some of the other guys didn't notice you have a 12 bolt? If you launch well, as least you'll be in front for a little while.
