LT1 throttle bodys the same??

LT1 throttle bodys the same??
My buddy has a 96 trans am and I found a 94 throttle body I was going to buy just to port. Are they all the same for all LT1s?

The 92-93 LT1 throttle bodies were the same as were the 94-97s. The 92-93s had the provision for the kickdown cable. The 94 throttle body will work for his car.

ok, his is a 6spd so that won't matter. So they all will work then?

The 94 will work as long as it is a Fbody-Bbody 94-97 LT1 throttle body. The 92-95 Vette throttle bodies are different than the Fbody and Bbody TBs.
