Brent no offense, but a couple of your post sounded if you thought you knew all with your Crane comment...Could it be that crane 847 getting the best of you??? This is unreal that I can get badgered and not rebuttle..Are you kidding me?? as if you or and other of your board members wouldnt.....I got questioned. I answered. Sorry if my posts got out of hand but blame your other fellow members as well..(some not all) I dont have to be professional my livelyhood doesnt depend on selling cams as I stated many many times..Just easy for some of your members to use that as a defense mechanism...so all my post's from here on out are considered advertising I guess, and as you elegantly already stated you think that aswell.. But it is kinda funny how the 11.9 guys backed off and now I'm about to shut down another known member on this board another duck lands on CRY lake... as I said before I'M NOT SELLING ANYMORE CAMS!!!! is that plain enough or what????..
BY all means discredit me or say I'm unprofessional..I could care less...But theres no REAL man out there that isnt gonna stand their ground unless they are yellow...I've never done nothing but defend myself on every post I started or been involved in thus far..But yet its my fault,kinda ironic dont ya think...thanks for another locked post tell your cz28 commandos if they cant take it..dont dish it out...But I'm not gonna sit here and get beat up on either.. You wont see no more posts from me I assure you..unless they are my own..YOU or any moderators just make sure you keep your members in check with the scarcasm and snide comments...I posted for two guys that was happy as can be for what their car ran yesterday and defended myself to the end..If thats unprofessional so be it... No. They get locked because this is not the place for constant bickering! You, Joe, are a smart guy. You have to realize that what you are doing is instigating a current problem by continuing to post the way you are. Why not just let things die down for a bit??? Then, the controversy won't be so fresh in people's minds. I have actually been somewhat on your side if you haven't noticed but it has lately appeared to me that you are somewhat instigating things now.

Also, as a moderator, when I keep getting complaints, I have to do something. The complaints are valid and this is not the place for the childish arguments.

Now that is funny I honestly did not even correlate the two. I don't have any ties to Crane. I actually don't know Jack about cams... do you see me posting in topics related primarily to cams? Nope. I let the engine building guys respond to those posts. My point with the Crane comment was only in response to a guy who asked if I knew what I "custom" cam was. Why he was asking me that I have no idea??? I was pointing out that a buddy of mine YEARS ago did some stuff for Crane. I, myself, am very low on the knowledge scale as far as cams go. So, I just have to find your comment above a bit funny

Actually, that is not what is happening. The posts where you were being questioned are long gone. The posts that are now creating problems I'm sorry to say are posts that are created by you or people with your cam. That is why it looks to many that you are instigating these arguments. You can't antagonize people that you have problems with and expect them to not respond. While they should respond in a professional manner, they often don't. Some of your guys aren't "professional" either. I'm not on the side of anybody here... I'm just the ref trying to keep this place a good place to hang out and people are getting sick of the bickering so I have to do something about it. From what I have seen, both sides have been fault.

You need to go back and read some of these posts, Joe. I've been getting on the other members as well for their snide comments. Like I said, I don't much care who is right, who is wrong. Doesn't matter one iota to me... I just know this board is not the place to argue and bicker.

No, you don't have to be professional. But, if you don't act in a professional manner here you can expect problems as you have seen. That goes for everybody. We aren't children and should be able to discuss this in a non antagonstic manner. But, so far, all I've seen is childish bickering from BOTH sides of the argument and that's why these posts have problems.

You sure seem to make a great product but why be so antagonistic about it??? "shut down another member"? What's that mean? You already said you don't care if you act in a professional manner or not. But, if you don't plan on "shutting him down" in a professional manner then don't post here... take it to email.

Why not just let the guys make their own posts? You see, with all the CRAP going on with this issue, when you post like you did you seem to WANT to stir the pot. You yourself must know the topic is going to go downhilll, right? Well, what do you expect me to do??? Sit here and get all the complaints and do nothing?

Why not just let things be for a bit. If somebody creates a topic like "Joes cams are crap!" then that will be dealt with as well. So far, the only problems have been in threads that have been started by you. So, it's not that you are being badgered and defending yourself. You are kinda saying "bring it on" then being badgered, then defending yourself. This is not the place to do that.

Like I have mentioned before, I haven't really followed this before all the crap started. I didn't post in the threads that talked about your cams. I didn't mention anything about "advertising" to you previously... it was other members here as I recall. I basically didn't get involved at all until the constant bickering began. Again, I DON'T CARE if you are right or if the people who often question you are right. It does not matter to me. All I know is that if ALL OF YOU can't start to debate in a professional manner about who is right and who is wrong, then the posts will continue to be closed when they get out of hand. It is as simple as that so both sides need to expect it.
