I was just wondering if its possible to start the engine without the tranny harness connected has anyone tried this. I tried to start the motor but it wouldn't start. I was thinking I might have put the opti in the wrong slot. I know where it goes but it might have turned while installing it. Im almost sure its dealing with spark since I'm smelling fuel. Brand new engine so its got compression (cough it better! lol).. I didn't get to check anything since I was alone maybe tomorrow. Any of you guys know if not having the tranny harness on will cause it not to start? I know you can start it without the tranny since its m6 but what if the harness isn't connected? Anyone know for sure?
