Are you happy with your Scanmaster? Has it helped you out? I'm thinking seriously about purchasing one and sticking it in the right air vent. I'm tired of getting SES lights and not having a scan tool.

Any input?

Re: LT1 Scanmaster users

I have one and it works really well. I am looking to get rid of it now that I have a Snap-on mt-2500. Let me know if you want it, I'll save you some money.

Re: LT1 Scanmaster users

I have one and buddy does too and also have one in my ls1 and had one in my 92 talon and only sold that one as it didn't work in my 97 talon.
They are great tuning aids and great to have them in the car all the time when you need them not like a laptop.

So yes if you can snap one up on the board just do it!!! You will be impressed and scanning codes even once can pay for it compared to what some shops charge to read the codes. It unfortunatley don't read codes on 96 and newer cars. I have laptop and hpp for that right now unless go to obd1 computer.
Not decided on that 100% yet.

Re: LT1 Scanmaster users

I beleive the Scanmaster is worth every penny, it helped me out everytime I had a problem with my Z, and it looks cool while driving at night.

Everytime I got into the car I looked at all the sensor readings while driving, its nice to know what the car is doing.

Now if I could just find a decent place to put it in my T/A.
