Re: lt1 scanmaster???

T Byrne Motorsports also sells them.

The ScanMaster will work on both OBD-I and OBD-II cars for reading the sensors and PCM parameters. It will read the trouble codes on the OBD-I PCM. It will NOT read trouble codes on OBD-II PCM's.

Everything you wanted to know about the ScanMaster:

Re: lt1 scanmaster???

Another option is going with a real data logger... the scanmater is only a reader.

You could buy an older laptop(300mhz) for around $150 and then get an AKM cable for $65. Lastly youll need a good logger like TTS Datamaster or freescan but freescan like the scanmaster doesnt save the data. Datamaster is around $100 I think but is 100x more useful than the scanmaster. I have both and honestly the only reason I still own the scanmaster is because it kinda looks cool.

Hey I was looking into that AKM cable and a few sites said that it only works with GM cars from like 1985 to 1995 and its only good for OBDI. Any truth to this? Im not too sure.

Re: lt1 scanmaster???

AKM does not currently sell cables that support OBD-II.
