How would you drop it out of the bottom. I bought a totalled 94 camaro and not sure how i'm gonna pull the engine yet. Everything is gonna come off this car anyway so which was is easier if everything is coming off anyway?

Thanks,
William

I believe to take it out the bottom you have to unbolt all of the front suspension and the front cross brace the motor is bolted too, and the car lifts right up off. If you have the space and the available headroom I've heard it isn't that hard. I've seen pictures of people slowly but surely shimming the front of the car up until it's almost standing on end. Garage ceiling allowing of course.

The bottom of the front bumper needs to be ~3' off the ground if you leave the wheels on.

Once you have the engine out of the cradle, you are left with kind of an high perf Segway looking thing.

I believe to pull it out the bottom it's 6 bolts for the K member, 6 for the struts, two for the tranny brace a couple for the driveshaft and you need to disconnect the brake lines and the wiring along with the TQ arm and of course the radiator lines

then yes, it's just a matter of getting the front end high enough and pulling the k member out from under the car

WOW, I've had mine out about four times or once a year. I've never pulled it with the tranny bolted to it though. Since it's out right now, and going back in in a couple of weeks I'll try it. sure would save time. How hard is it going back in??? I have a BMR kmember up front so I'm sure that will help.

I actually do use some of those pictures as a screen saver on my cell phone.
