My brothers 96 Trans Am 6 speed has 155K hard driven miles on it and it still runs a 13.4 @ 105mph with bolt ons.
As long as the engine is maintained, it should be good.
A friends father of mine has an Impala SS with 300K on the on the stock motor and it runs great, no oil leaks, doesn't burn oil, etc... Regular maintainence is the key to a long lasting engine.

well w/ my experience's my buddy had a 93 z w/ a few on the clock and he beat the **** outta that thing and it kept runnin like the day he bought it. My 97 was very reliable in rain, snow or shine, always fired up...and my new 96 feels very strong even though theres only 40 on the clock...Id say its a very reliable engine.

The only thing that you might have to do is the opti. Its only 180$ from jason cromer and takes a couple of hours to replace. Not that big o deal. From personal expeirence the LT1 is very reliable.....................after you replace the ignition and all its components...............

If your talking about my Z28 that you called me about, its got a new opti and water pump, plus I just changed the plugs and wires about 5000 miles ago. New fuel filter, fuel pump is fine, the only thing I'm honestly worried about is the rear end, and maybe the tranny slightly slipping in 1st gear, or I either got used to the acceleration.

I'm replacing the oil pan gasket and flushing the tranny fluid and brake fluid next weekend too.

Make me an offer man like I said, maybe we can work something out.

My 95 has 128,000 miles with only the fuel pump failing. (Even ran nitrous for awhile!). Still on the original Opti!!!! Still runs strong and smooth. If it was maintained well, it should be good.

i have a 94 trans am. with about 71k on it. and the only thing i have had replaced is the opti. pretty common on our LT1's. other than that, it has been great. however i do hate those damn window motors i just got those replaced, so i should be okay for a while. 110k isint too bad on a 95. i would say the mileage is average to higher. just take it for a ride and make the decision for yourself. good luck.
