Hi everyone, I'm new to this board, and new to Camaros. The question's I have is. Do all z-28's with dual exhaust have the LT1 engine? How can the LT1 be identified? Thanks in advance.

 

There are no Z28s with dual exhaust stock. Just because there's two tips doesnt mean it's dual exhaust. LT1 can be identified if your car is a Z28, SS, Firebird Formula, Trans AM from 93-97. Of course there were a few other cars with this engine like the corvette, caprice, and impala? but im thinking this is mostly an F-body forum.

Look on the edge thing of the driver side door... somewhere it should say LT1 under the product codes.

 

look at the intake manifold.
