Question LT1 passkey system

Hey everyone,
I have a 93 LT1 from a corvette I am dropping into a 69 camaro, I'm using the corvette ECM to operate the fuel injectors, my problem is that the pass key system seems to be causing the injectors not to fire, is there any way to simulate the pass key system information and make this work or am I out of luck. Any ideas are greatly appreciated
Thanks

You can program the chip in the ECM I do believe. Or, you can spend an hour or two figuring out which one of the 15 different resistance values it takes to over-ride the VATS

See near the end of this page...

is the odb1 chip reprogrammable or would it require a new one?

Hmm... not positive about the 93 Corvette but the 93 F-Body LT1 used an ECM with a chip. You could burn a new chip and replace it. The 94+ does not have a removable chip and you instead plug a laptop with a special program into the ALDL port and reprogram it that way... a bit easier than the 93

Check with your local dealer, they should be able to supply you with a VATS disabled chip. If not, there are plenty of aftermarket chip dealers who should be able to disable the VATS with their chips. Hypertech and Superchips are probably the most prominent.
