LT1 Oil Pan same as?
Is the LT1 pan the same as a Vortec 1 pc rear main block pan? Anyone know?

yes, but no oil level sensor.

also may have clearance issue with rack.

the rack should clear fine if i am not mistaken and as mdacton said the main difference is with the oil level sensor, as there is no provision for it.
