head gasket

anyone ever had problems getting impala head gaskets to seal?? both of mine are leaking at the back inside corner and leaking right into the lifter valley as soon as i put water in the radiator.

Nope, I've uses Imp SS head gaskets several times without a leak.

I would check and re check everything. Chances are something isnt quite right. Many people run them for more compression.

I have and everything seems good. Weird that its the same spot on both. Im gonna pull the heads tonight and see what the gaskets look like.

did you use tread sealant on all the head bolts?

Were the heads milled? Perhaps the dowl pins are causing a problem.

FYI: I'm running the impy gaskets and do not have a problem either.
