well good news and bad news

good news is, i painted the intake manifold red (it looks like an LT4 one now with the polished fins on top)

i got everything off and found exactly where the leak was...on the ridge on the back of the motor there was a blowout

everything is going back together pretty good

bad news: in a pinch to get my hand unstuck, i managed to pull out the two wires that go into a connector that is attatched to some sort of vacume actuator or something. one hose coming off it goes to the manifold, the other to some sort of diaphragm . I think the wires are an orange/black and a black. Does anyone know what this is/does, do i even need to hook it up anyways?

the other bad news is that i managed to tear one of the stupid rubber elbows that goes to fuel pressure regulator. can i just tape that up without a problem or just get another piece of rubber hose and replace the whole thing without elbows altogether. (now that i mention that i am going to do that instead)

i cant think of any more problems i have run into, but if i remember, i will be sure to post, along with pics of the newly red intake mani.

thanks for you help guys
