Lt1 motor Swap
Re: Lt1 motor Swap
Its another lt1 right? I'm sure it will fit if so. If its an iron headed motor though I would swap the aluminum heads onto it. May be little miniscule differences like where stuff plugs in an such but shouldn't be a difficult swap at all.
Re: Lt1 motor Swap
Im in the process of actually putting a l99 4.3l out of a caprice in a 94 formula. Engine swap should be near identical.
Problems I have ran into so far would be just the accessory bracket. Most people seem to just swap the Hub damper but Im having a custom spacer and bolts made from a friend whos a machine operator.
Other than that, it seems like it is all plug and play. Only thing I see that might cause a small issue is the style of opti thats on it.
