LT1 Magazine (didn't know where to post)

Does anyone know of a good magazine that constantly has LT1 tech, appearance, etc in it?

GMHTP might be your best bet.

It's kinda sad that the 4th generation f-body was around for 9 years, and there's really only 1 mag available that caters to it! There are plenty of Mustang mags, lot's of Corvette mags and tons of import tuner mags...sad-sad-sad!

I've read a lot of good information in High Performance Pontiac magazine, though it covers all Pontiacs.

The past couple of issues of GMHTP have concentrated mostly on the LS1 though. The latest one out doesn't have anything on the LT1. They should change the name of the magazine to LS1HTP

Don't forget car craft, super chevy, and chevy rumble(Thinks it's new). They don't focus on just lt1's but have a good amount of tech involving all aspects of a car including ours.

Since Johnny Hunkins (is that right?) left GMHTP and went to Chevy High Performance, they've started covering the F-Body more as well. So you might check that one too.

You guys are on crack rock, yea this last issue was mainly about the LS1, but LT1 stuff has always dominated that magazine. They had some GN stuff and they covered the Impala SS Nats. Its s small mamagzine, they cant make every one happy every month.

From what I have seen in the last couple if issues of GMHTP, I think they have mainly concentrated on the LS1.

Its a small magazine, with a small staff, working on budget. So they try to cover as much as possible. They have great lt1 tech stuff in there. They just dont always have somthing on it all the time.

But to be honest, its one of the only magazines you can get if you want LT1 and Fbody information monthly.

No doubt that it is a good magazine and they do have alot to cover..I was just saying that lately it has mainly been LS1 stuff. Next issue may be all LT1...who knows. As for the magazine, I think it is great whether they are talking about LT1's or LS1's.

I noticed there were no 4th gen LT1 articles in the last issue too. They have written plenty of articles over the years though, plus the LT1 hasnt even been produced for seven years now. It doesnt bother me that they have more LSx articles now, it is the newer of the two motors and it's still in production (in Vettes at least) What bothers me is the magazine seems to have gotten thinner since Hunkins left not thicker. Doesn't seem to me that it will become a monthly magazine anytime soon.

I didn't renew my subscription because of the lack of LT1 coverage. I remember when that magizine first came out how I loved it. Then it just started going down hill for the LT1 crowd.
