Maybe a stupid question but are they the same. Just wondering if the LT4 impeller would be different based on more HP to cool. I did a search first but never found any conclusions.

It's the same pump.

 

Same if its an F body LT4..
Corvette LT1 AND LT4 has a different pump than an F body..

 

Thanks for pointing that out, I realize the water pipe connections are different depending on series of car. Mainly wondering about flow rate and so on. Impeller??

 

Not aware of any internal differences.

 

I know it's been "under development" for a long time now but supposedly Stewart is developing a high flow/high output LT1-specific mechanical waterpump. Don't know much about it specifically but I'd definitely prefer an HO mechanical pump to an electric, personally. Don't know if Evans has an alternative LT1-specific mechancial pump either, but they recently released a real nice (albeit expensive) LS1 pump.
