LT1/LT4 Valve Covers

Does anyone know what the difference in height is between an LT1 valve cover and an LT4 valve cover?

I know you asked this question some time ago, but I have a better answer, now.

The LT4s are about 3/8" taller on the outside. Part of it has to do with the way it sits on the head. It uses different gaskets than the stock covers. Still, they clear the alternator without problem.

F.Y.I....the gasket/seal is an integral part of the LT1/LT4 Corvette composite valve cover.
