LT1/LS1 upper radiator support

Does anyone know if the upper radiator support for an LS1 will fit on an LT1 car? I'm trying to mock up the LS1 procharger twin high-flow setup to work and see what kind of tubing I'll need to fabricate for intercooling the beast.

The LS1 twin high-flow kit requires you to mount a plastic box looking thing to the upper radiator support. It doesn't sit right on the LT1 support, I if it doesn't take a lot of modification, I want to swap.

the ls1 support will fit, but i had to grind some of the plastic off the bottom so it would sit flat. i converted my 96 lt1 to an ls1 ram air system, it took a little grinding but i got it it to work.

Re: LT1/LS1 upper radiator support

I got a response on another board that it won't fit under a stock hood, but it will fit under the ram air hoods (I have a poncho tho). Just a heads up for you to check clearance on your SS before you dive into it...

If you need an LS1 upper radiator support, someone responded to my thread in the parts wanted forum after I already got a hold of one. Shoot him a PM with an offer for it.

It will take some modifying. The ram air box on that black LT1 that says "Pontiac & ram air" on top of air box, sells for $700. To my knowledge no aftermarket company make them anymore.
