LT1 with LS1 airlid?

I seen on ebay they have bellows that will bolt up to the LT1 throttle body and to the MAF and then to a LS1 air lid. I assume if you were to swap over a few LS1 parts (lid, radiatior cover) you would have the same air intake set-up as the LS1. Now you guys think it will be better than our CAI's? I wouldnt think it would be that hard of a swap if it was worth it.

It is my understanding the hood and fenders needs to be replaced, because the box sits up too high.

I had thought about this before.

I've heard that the 98+ f-bodies breath differently than 93-97 f-bodies. 93-97 f-bodies breath from the drivers side of the car and 98+ cars breath from the front, or somewhere else. Not really sure, so correct me if I'm wrong.

I think a WS-6 intake setup with Fernco couplers would be just as effective as the LS1 setup. But that would require either a WS6 or UltraZ hood.

But then again, the LS1 setup would require a complete front-end conversion.
