Lt1 Intermediate Pipe Question

Not sure if this is in the right section or not but i have pacesetter LT's and needed to stay within budget when i put them on so i went with magnaflow muffler/tips but kept my Intermediate pipe, the sound is perfect btw, but im kind of kicking myself now because im not sure if i can get some more HP if i swap out the intermediate pipe my Question is, is there a place where i can order just the I pipe? i think ive heard of the dynomax being on summit but are there any others? and would it be worth swapping for the HP gained thx guys

Re: Lt1 Intermediate Pipe Question

I have a similar problem. Shane at custom exhaust in Bend, OR is making a 3" intermediate pipe and 2 1/2 " tail pipes for my car. However the guy that is bring in a Firebird, for the same thing has not brought the car in. Ist bee three months. I may send my stuff to him and have him duplicate it. I'm running Kook's but that should not make a difference.

Re: Lt1 Intermediate Pipe Question

depends how far you are going to go with the car, the stock pipe is 2.75" so going to a 3" pipe on a fairly stock car prolly wouldn't net you much.
