i can't wait to do this!!!! with a few other porting tweaks i hope to make about 470 rwhp. and then i will top it off with some of the gas

imo, any porting will only benefit the motor! at least on the intake, even a stock intake. i did a mild gasket match on my wife's z last year when i fixed the intake leak and the car runs great! cai and a gear car went 13.4 @ 101.2mph.
keep in mind the air flow velocity is highest on the roof of the intake runner just as it is exiting the heads to your headers.
my new lt4 intake is complete and waiting to be plopped onto the motor. my original intake is also completed and for sale.

There has to be someone out there who has accomplished this mod on a mildly modded ride.
Has anyone ever removed the wall separating the runners and if so how it respond? Would this effect the engine's performance in a negative manner. Anyone.........

Here's a few pics of my 93 intake ports. I didn't remove much material and the basic shape is still the same as it was when I started. So now knowing what the ski ramps look like I would have to say that the 93's intake don't have the ski ramps. There is a depression where the injectors fire into the port as you can see in the second picture.
