I have heard of them slipping, but has anyone ever had one come off from bolt coming out or whatever. Mine is keyed, so it shouldnt spin on the crankshaft. But Ihave never heard of one coming out forward or off?

 

I was following a race on the highway when a guy I know had his balancer fly off. He's had problem's with it, because it used to be a SC'ed/nitrous setup. But even after he removed the blower, he still had problems with it.

 

I can see the balancer coming off, but what about the Hub, as it is pressed on?

 

Exactly, it was just pressed on. It had spun before, but that night, it came off.

 

Ouch, I didnt realize that. My friend 96 had the hub seperate from the balancer, and it lock the motor as if jammed itself . But my Hub is keyed, so spining is not an issue, and I am curious how one of these can come off, as there pressed pretty far.
