LT1 headgaskets?

Im running Felpro 1074 [.039"] gaskets now on my car and I need to bump up the compression. These the right headgaskets?

Thumbs up

If you want the compresion higher than it would be with the FelPro 1074's, the Mr. Gasket 5716's have a .026 compressed thickness. How much will it help versus a regular gasket, don't know. I have these gaskets, but I did headers and exhaust at the same time, so there was no way to really tell how much they helped. Maybe someone on here has done a back to back dyno or track run with these.

>are those like the Impala SS head gaskets??? those are supposed to be thinner to raise compression on the LT1 blocks with cast iron heads.
