Re: LT1 Gas Mileage

Why do you guys think you need to replace your o2 sensors when the SES light isn't even on?

i get ~17 in the city and near about 31 on the interstate. i sometimes do my own skip shift and just skip 2nd and go to 3rd. no 1st to 4th shifts like the tranny wants me to.

Re: LT1 Gas Mileage

I have an A4 and 3.23s, last summer i checked it and i think it was 11 (all city, short trips). Next couple fill ups im going to check the mileage again and also hook the car up to a scanner to check the o2s.

Re: LT1 Gas Mileage

i get about 18-19 mpg when i dont drive like a maniac. if i do drive like a maniac, about 17 mpg. Not too bad with mods in sig and with 140,000 miles, if i dont say so myself.

id say replace your o2's if they have 60,000-70,000 + miles on them. How bout a new pcv valve? ALso fuel filter, and of course plugs & wires if their old.

Thats gonna drop big time after those 373's...but its well worth it

1994 A4 LT1, Air pump removed, as well as the EGR and EVAP systems. I average 20 in town with my foot out of it. and around 30 on the interstate.
