LT1 Exhaust Questions

We're about to upgrade the factory exhaust system on a 1996 Z28. One of the original catalytic converters has failed, so we plan to replace the Y-pipe with one from Stainless Works that includes cats. Does anyone have any feedback on this pipe? Anything extra we'll need to make it work on our car? I spoke to Stainless Works directly and they said it should bolt right on, no O2 harness extensions or anything extra necessary.

We have a like-new cat-back kit from Magnaflow that came off a 2001 F-body. What (if anything) is required to use this kit on our '96 F-body?

Thanks very much for the help.

Re: LT1 Exhaust Questions

Doubt anything would need to be modified, so long as your '96 is equipped with the dual cats... which from reading your post, seems like it includes both on your year

Oh yah, seeing as how you're doing exhaust work anyways, shorties or longtubes is a definate must as well

Thanks for the response.

Anyone have any feedback on the Stainless Works stuff? Summit's been selling it for a while but I haven't heard from anyone who's used it.
