LT1 Dyno Update

Hey Board-

I am getting my gremlins taken care of 1 at a time. I ended up dynoing at Superfest and put down 321 RWHP and 330 RWTQ.

My last dyno was 316 / 316 last year. My only changes were a fresh set of stock plug wires and an underdrive pulley.

My next steps are:

1) Replacing the 2.75" S Pipe with a 3" so I am 3" from Y-Pipe to muffler.

2) Looking at replacing those sad performing Edelbrock shorties with some real headers.

3) LE Heads - to get me in the neighborhood of 400 HP.

My Current Engine Mods:
FIPK / Ported MAF / 52MM TB
Hotcam Kit / 1.6 RR / LT4 Springs
Edelbrock TES
SLP 2OTL
MadZ28 Hotcam tune
Underdrive pulley

One of my fellow club members put down 307 / 330 with similiar mods with a Borla catback / 1.6 RR / MAC Headers and STOCK cam! There has got to be a bottle neck somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Well i put down 308 with the mods listed, excluding the waterpump, what did the A/F ratio look like on the dyno? any room for improvement?

Doesn't look too off to me. Most Hotcam M6's with headers put down about 325-330 rwhp, and the same TQ is you. Did you get you A/F checked on your dyno pulls?

As far as the A/F goes, from 3600 up it was right at or about 13.8.

Re: LT1 Dyno Update

Whoa, put some fuel in it.. You want to target around 13.0-13.2 I start sweating at 13.4 on street cars

BTW. Ion will take care of you I'm sure if you send your PCM back.
