LT1 dual spring for 580 lift?

What are my options for a dual spring that can be used on the LT1 head that will take 580 lift? I don't want to go single. Just not a big fan of them, seen alot of problems with the single with the higher lifts.

I would recomend the PACs aswell, but if you really want dual the Crane 10308 kit should work nicely for you.

yep, Crane 10308-1 kit is hard to beat for the $$$.

.580 lift with typical ramp speed (CC 306, GM 847, etc) is no problem with these springs and 6500-6600 RPM.

If you don't want to run the open pressure of the 99893 spring which is the spring in
the 10308 kit you can run the 96872 springs. You can see both in the "Valve Spring
Chart" in my signature. I'm running the 96872 springs and they are working great
with 6200 max rpm and the Crane 104227 cam. Both springs have about the same
closed pressure and are good to .600" lift. If you are going to run higher rpm as Lloyd
said you should use the 99893 springs.

Jegs/Summit has thes Crane 10308-1 for about $160. The Crane 10308-1 "kit" comes with the Crane 99893 spring, retaienrs and locks.
