lt1 carb (opti hole plate)

anyone know where i can get the plate to plug the hole for the optispark ? im going carb and i was told i need this plate , can i just make one ? :/

It is part number 12367600, and availabe from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com . Hope this helps.

nice thanks ! :P one quick question also :P, there is a coupler for the water pump, do you happen to know the part # for that too, every time i call a parts place they dont know what the heck im talking about, thanks , yes it does help !

If you are talking about the splined water pump drive shaft coupler that connects the water pump driveshaft and the water pump, it is part number 10128334 . Amazingly, GM charges $35.00 for it. I may have my old one that I removed for my Cloyes/CSI install if you want it.

ok sounds good, i was told there was only one intake that works for lt1 that supports a carb, is this the one, or is there more ?

You can use any intake. The GEN I SBC bolt pattern just has to be converted to the LT1 pattern and thats a simple job for any competent machinist.
